About The Venue:
Nestled in the south-east coast of Sabah.
The third largest town in Sabah after Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan.
Exports have traditionally been tobacco, cocoa and palm oil. Currently, Tawau Port is one of Sabah’s main export gateways for timber. Birds’ nests are harvested at Baturong, Segalong and Madai Caves as Chinese medical delicacies.
Tawau is the world’s third largest producer of cocoa bean and it was named the cocoa capital of Asia in the 1980s.
